Moorcroft is a delightful self-contained self-catering holiday cottage apartment
overlooking Loch Etive and situated in over 5 acres of lovely garden grounds,
8 miles North of the picturesque town and ferry port of Oban.

You are welcome to use the summerhouse where there are 4 chairs and a small charcoal barbecue and fuel for use outside.

To the rear of the cottage is a delightful small meadow and a feature walled picnic area with views towards Beinn Lora and Mull.

Seats are provided around the garden and grounds for relaxing with a book, watching the wildlife, or simply enjoying just being.

Knited Blankets
Granny Jen’s Snuggly Blankets

Every blanket is a unique keepsake, hand knitted and crocheted
with love in our 200 year old Scottish croft house.

My inspiration for these blankets came from my mother’s frugal re-use of any worn-out hand-knitted garments that she could beg from friends and family, or buy for a few pence from jumble sales. She would spend many hours unpicking them, winding the wool into huge balls, and then re-knitting the yarn into blankets.

My blankets are made using new Acrylic yarn which can be washed at 40 degrees. I knitted one for each of my seven grandchildren and they have been greatly treasured.

For cot, pram, buggy, camping, the car, wheel-chair or Great Granny’s knees…
